How do file filters work?

In the Include filter, you can select one or more document formats from the dropdown list. Files with matching file extensions found in the source location will be used as source files for the conversion.

If the option to include subfolders is enabled, matching files in subfolders will also be included.

If you select All files in the Include filter, all supported file types found in the source location will be used as source files for the conversion.

After selecting All files in the Include filter, you can additionally select file types in the Exclude filter that you do not want to use as source files.

This works like an inverted selection: all supported file types are included except those selected in the Exclude filter.
